2008 COMMUNITY OF STARS HONOREES
The Williamsburg-James City County Community Action Agency is holding its fifth annual Community of STARS fundraising banquet on April 24th, 2008 at the Colonial Heritage in Williamsburg, Virginia. We will celebrate the Agency’s 40th year and honor several individuals, business and organizations who have strengthened and enhanced the Agency by freely giving of their time, energy, and/or resources. The complete list of 2008 Community of STARS honorees is listed below
Proceeds from the fundraising banquet will go toward W-JCC Community Action Agency programs and services to include Head Start, youth/family services and community programs. We serve over 1,600 individuals and families within the Greater Williamsburg area every year.
The public is welcomed to attend. You may purchase tickets at $40.00 each, $75.00 for two and only $300 for a table of eight. To purchase tickets please phone Yvonne Joseph at 757-229-9332. The evening is semi-formal and includes a silent auction and a cash bar. We are looking forward to celebrating the Agency’s success and honoring an outstanding group with you on this evening.

The Community Action Agency is a private non-profit community based organization that offers assistance to families and individuals to promote economic self-sufficiency and thus reducing dependence on public support through innovative approaches to programs and services.
